What you need to become a licensed permanent makeup artist in Florida: training, bloodborne pathogens certification, and your tattoo license

In Florida, you must be at least 18, pass a state-approved bloodborne pathogens course, and hold a Florida tattoo artist license from your county health department. The state fee is $60. You also need hands-on PMU training. No cosmetology or esthetician license is required.
